My legs are very sore right now. Sore from a day of working out, tackling various house painting projects and a night of sober dancing. Does this mean I’m getting old? I think it does but I’m going with it. So I’ll sip some Gatorade this morning, do an extra stretch or two and try not to hobble like a complete grandma for the rest of the day. While I do that, you can enjoy these links from around the web this week!
This year is shaping up to be a busy one for the Erickson crew (as if this project wasn’t enough on our plates)! We booked a big trip last night for this fall and I’m only leaving you this image as a little teaser of the destination. More details to come but I will tell you this trip has me absolutely giddy with excitement!
Happy Easter, friends! It’s been a quiet, lazy morning at the Erickson household but we’re gearing up for an afternoon of yard work, basement work, laundry work and freelance work. In the words of Rihanna, work work work work work. If you need a distraction from your family gatherings or your afternoon of work, enjoy the links below from around the web this week.
Friday, Friday, Friday! You’re here and I am oh-so glad. After a busy few weeks of navigating a new job, travel, bi-polar weather and busy evenings a quiet Easter weekend sounds delightful. Hope you enjoy the couple days off no matter what you’re up to.
Real talk, where do people buy swimsuits these days? Gal pals, text me, email me, beep me (ha!) because I just booked a trip to Myrtle Beach and my go-to Vic’s has left me hanging on the swimsuits this season. Help!
I noticed the other day that all the art in our home is black and white. It doesn’t bother me but we should probably mix it up a bit. With our basement remodel on and popping (and seemingly never-ending), it seems like a good opportunity to get some colors other than white, black and grey up in frames. So I’m drawing some inspiration from pieces like Cesar’s above and scheming some bright pieces for our otherwise dark basement. Stay tuned.
